The individual will be accountable for conducting detailed analysis of financial markets, requiring knowledge of equity fixed-income markets and basic statistics and mathematical aptitude. The ideal candidate should currently be employed by a portfolio management firm with an analytical mind and currently pursuing their CFA level 2 or 3 or well into MBA program. Responsibilities will include assisting in the development of financial models, developing and maintaining a database of market and economic data, producing and maintaining regular market and economic presentations for senior management, dealing with market statistics and trade ideas, supporting Senior Research Analysts in ongoing projects and assisting with firm research reports. $25 Billion Investment Management Firm seeks a portfolio administrator with s trong analytical skills, high aptitude for numbers and some experience in Wrap accounts (SMA) and Checkfree APL. Individual will liaise and build relationships with sponsor trading desk regarding limits as well as work orders given liquidity issues always making sure there are no conflicts between Wrap and institutional accounts of the firm. Additional duties include managing and maintaining all trade rotation spreadsheets and databases & providing data analysis for sponsor due diligence meetings. Must be able to trouble shoot sponsor systems and communications issues. Wrap trader will execute “across the board” trades, list trades, and manage the step out/in process. Compensation to 85K + Bonus

$10 Billion prestigious NYC Asset Management Firm seeks a high level Portfolio Administrator seeking advancement. Must have a strong product knowledge across most of these varied instrument types/investment vehicles: equities, fixed income.derivatives, alternative investments included in separate accounts, mutual funds and SMA. Candidate will liaise between portfolio managers, traders and custodians for all portfolio specific activity and issues. Experience with Advent Axys, Checkfree APL and Charles River or Longview is a plus. Ideal candidate will be groomed to supervise the group over time. Compensation: 80K + Bonus.


Primary responsibility is to oversee the settlement and administration and ongoing maintenance for investments in Bank Debt, Credit Default Swaps, Futures and other Alternative Investments security types. This includes, but is not limited to reading, understanding and coordination of Bank Loans, CDOs and Futures documentation and terms of the agreements between the firm and the agent and the custodian. Providing security setup and maintenance to the internal database group, regarding interest rate changes, paydowns, etc. Gathering information from external sources such as Intralinks and Loan pricing and LSTA (Loan Syndication and trading Association) and other vendors when the trade is first executed and ongoing information regarding the securities such as income payments, principal paydowns and various default criteria. $4 Billion mid-town Money Management firm seeks experienced trade settlements administrator. Responsibilities include updating and creating new accounts in Omgeo Alert and providing DTC and Fed delivery instructions to the trader(s). Candidate will receive trade downloads from Custodians and Brokers and work closely with the trader to resolve exceptions when notified by the counter party. He/she will be responsible for monitoring the domestic OASYS system to ensure that trades are received and allocated by executing Brokers and perform all uploads of executed trades from the order management system into the Oasys system. Candidate will attend to and resolve daily prime broker correspondence related to any trade breaks using Advent AXYS and MOXY. Compensation: To 75K + Bonus.
